Many transportation companies from around the region gathered Friday, November 9, to discuss concerns about transportation options.
The focus of the meeting was to discuss transportation options for elders and people with disabilities.
Laura Brown is the Senior Asociate at RLS and Associates. She explained why they had this meeting.
“We are working with human service agencies and public transportation providers, senior centers to talk about ways we can enhance transportation throughout West Virginia particularly in rural areas,” Brown said.
These companies will continue to discuss these topics in their next meeting, which will be held in February 2019.
