Memories on Mercer Street honors nostalgia of Princeton

Mercer County

Princeton honors the nostalgia of Mercer Street in its prime on Thursday. Memories on Mercer Street takes place at the Turnaround on Mercer Street Thursday, March 7, at 7 p.m.

Anyone in the area can attend and hear or tell stories of Mercer Street, free of charge.

Lori McKinney is the event organizer. She said this received a good response from community members on social media already.

“It’s really great, it’s kind of like the new good old days now. We have some people that have their memories on Mercer Street from as a kid, taking their first music lesson in what’s now the coffee shop. So we shared a lot of great memories over the last fifteen years since we’ve been working here,” said McKinney.
