PRINCETON, W. Va. (WVNS) — A Mercer County man is facing malicious wounding and strangulation charges, according to deputies.
Michael Brian Weeks, of Princeton, was extradited from Pennsylvania and booked in the Southern Regional Jail on Tuesday, March 13.
According to Mercer County Deputies, Weeks was wanted for an incident that happened back in August 2017. They said according to reports, Weeks allegedly kicked, chocked and punched a family member. The victim was transported to CAMC and diagnosed with severe head trauma.
After gathering evidence, detectives obtained warrants for Weeks’ arrest. He is charged with malicious wounding, strangulation and capias.
