POW-MIA Flag 50 State Tour makes a pit stop in Princeton

Mercer County

The POW-MIA Flag 50 State Tour made its way to Mercer County on Saturday, May 11. Six different motorcycle clubs gathered at the War Memorial in Princeton to pass on the flag. It marked the fourth stop in a yearlong tour across the United State.

Gene White, President of the Ghost Riders Motor Cycle club, said this was put together to remember those that are still missing from war.

“Just to raise awareness so people know what is going on,” White said. “I mean 82,000 men didn’t come home from Vietnam… never been accounted for nothing. They are still over there somewhere. So, we are trying to raise a little bit of awareness and these guys are doing a great job.”

The Ghost Riders will have the flag until next Saturday, when they will pass it off to another motorcycle club to travel through Virginia.
