The Mercer County seat officially got into the holiday spirit with one of its treasured holiday traditions.
The Princeton-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Princeton had its annual Christmas parade on Monday, November 26. It is perhaps considered to be the longest, nighttime Christmas parade of its kind in the entire Mountain State.
Despite the bone-chilling temperatures and the high-force winds, the weather did not stop anyone, even Mercer County Commissioner, Greg Puckett, from filling up with holiday cheer.
“That’s what really makes the parade a lot of fun,” Puckett said. “It’s when you have the energy and the spirit of Christmas to come and really get all that excitement out.”
At least 7,000 people lined the streets of Princeton for tonight’s parade.
