The Princeton Police Department is holding more Princeton Police Explorers Programs. This program allows the youth to connect with police officers in a meaningful and educational way.

Lieutenant Jeremy Halsey works at the Princeton Police Department. He said this program is a great way to grow relationships with kids in the area

“It’s just about developing the relationship between a police officer and the kids and also helping them learn and to make better decisions,” Halsey said.

The 5-week prevention education program utilizes the Elementary-Students Against Destructive Decisions curriculum. The program is offered to elementary schools kids. If you are interested in the program you can contact the Princeton Police or Community Connections.
