Teachers across the state are taking to the picket lines to protest changes to the education bill.

Educators lined up outside of Princeton High School Tuesday, February 19, 2019, demanding change. Tina Russell, who is a teacher in Mercer County, said she will continue to fight, so she can provide the best education possible for her students.

“I love education and I love students. I’m a teacher and I truly care about what happens to them. It means a lot to me that I’m in there actually making an impact on their lives that hopefully will make a better future for them,” Russell said.

Russell added she wants to see more money go toward public schools and not charter schools.
