Thousands of dollars worth of drugs, cash and stolen guns found in Princeton home, 1 arrested

PRINCETON, W. Va (WVNS) — One man is in jail after Princeton police found drugs, cash and stolen guns inside of a home. 

Detectives with the Princeton Police Department tell 59 News they were called to a home on Knob Street after receiving a report about a man pointing a gun at several people Tuesday night.

At the home, police said they found 28-year-old Thomas Taylor of Princeton. 

Police obtained a search warrant and inside the home they reportedly found 69 grams of cocaine, 6 grams of heroin, 20 oxycodone pills and marijuana- totaling around $8,000 in street value. Detectives said they also found $4,550 in cash, stolen guns and ‘a large quantity of ammunition.’

Police said while all of this was unfolding, a small child was inside the home.

Taylor is charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, cocaine and oxycodone. He is also charged with brandishing a firearm and child neglect creating risk of serious injury and/or death. Police said more charges are pending.
