UPDATE: Intersection Open After Logging Truck Accident

UPDATE:

PRINCETON, W. Va (WVNS) — The Intersection of Morrison Drive and Courthouse Road in Princeton is open after a logging accident closed all lanes on April 16, 2018.

Mercer County dispatchers said the accident was cleared at around 3:00 p.m.

According to officials with the Princeton Fire Department, a part on the truck broke, and the truck hauling the logs drove away, leaving the trail and causing it to drop forward. The intersection was shut down for the safety of traffic.

Princeton Police also responded to the scene.

PRINCETON, W. Va (WVNS) — A logging truck accident closed a major intersection in Princeton on April 16, 2018.

Mercer County dispatchers said the accident happened at the intersection of Morrison Drive and Courthouse Road in Princeton. 

Details are limited, but dispatchers said all lanes are closed at the intersection and drivers are asked to find an alternate route.
