UNION, W. Va. (WVNS)– The nominations are set for the Monroe County Sheriff’s race in November.
Sheriff Kenneth Hedrick is facing 3 other democratic sheriff candidates in this primary race. However GOP candidate Elmer Galford was unopposed.
“I’m very happy. We’ll see how we do this fall. I’d like to stay on for this unexpired term, ” said Kenneth Hedrick, Monroe County Sheriff.
The previous sheriff, Sean crozier, resigned last year, Kenneth Hedrick became the interim sheriff.
Voters are will have to pick between Elmer Galford and Ken Hedrick in the general election on November 13th.
