UNION, WV (WVNS) — On Sunday, March 26, 2018, the Korner Kafe hosted a benefit to help the James Monroe High School Junior ROTC, where some members happen to be a part of the restaurant’s kitchen staff.  Five cadets manned the tables and served food, making their manager, Betty Lemons, proud to call them her employees.

“They do a wonderful job,” Lemons said.  “They’re both conscientious and hard workers, willing to go that extra mile.”

More than $1,200 was raised, but they fell short of their $2,000 goal.
