MINGO COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – The Mingo County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a man wanted for murder.
According to a release, deputies responded to the Elm Street area of Williamson yesterday, March 6th, 2018.
Deputies say they responded to the call of an alleged murder suspect selling narcotics from an apartment.
At the residence, deputies found the suspect and a sizable quantity of drugs. In total, deputies located 1.78 ounces of heroin totaling $28,000 in estimated street value, as well as marijuana and over $2,000 in cash.
The suspect, identified as Israel Reddick, initially provided a false name to police during processing. A fingerprint scan determined his real identity.
Deputies say Reddick was considered a fugitive from justice and was wanted on felony warrants from Lorain County, OH.
The Mingo County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the West Virginia State Police and Williamson Police Department.
