CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – The Charleston Police Department is recognizing an employee at the Charleston Town Center whose actions they say, “were above and beyond what any average person would do.”
Charleston Police say that on Monday, March 5th, 2018, responded to the mall in regards to a mentally handicapped woman who was lost and unable to relay information on where she lived.
Muriah helped feed the female and change her adult diaper while attempting to locate the woman’s caretakers. Police say the caretakers were later found.
Charleston Police say that Muriah “is a true credit to herself, her store, the Charleston Town Center, and the City of Charleston.”
