59 News to host Toys for Tots Drive Thru Drop Off

Raleigh County

Toys for Tots of Southern West Virginia is looking to bring a Merry Christmas to less fortunate children this season. While they have already collected thousands of toys, they are still looking for more.

On Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, 59 News will be teaming up with Toys For Tots. There will be two drive through drop off locations set up.  They will be located at the Magic Marts in Beckley and in Fairlea.

You can drop off a new unwrapped toy at these locations between 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Toys for Tots Coordinator for Southern West Virginia, Jay Quesenberry, said it feels good to give back.

“I really look at it as a ministry, it’s to give support or some love over these deserving kids, a new unwrapped toy can really offer hope and encouragement to a child because it means a lot to them to be remembered and thought of on Christmas,” Quesenberry said.

You can always drop off toys or donations at any time to the Toys for Tots headquarters at Beckley Auto Mall. Donations can be taken online as well at toysfortots.org

You can also mail your toys to:

306 S. Kanawha St. Beckley, WV 25801
