One Raleigh County Library is going through some major changes. Shady Spring Branch Library is undergoing some new changes to be a better resource to the community.
They began renovations on Monday, January 8th, inside the library. This is the last branch in the county to receive these changes, that officials said were much needed.
Amy Stover, Director of Raleigh County Public Libraries, said all libraries are an important to communities.
“Libraries are always important to the community and they deserve a nice updates space for them and their families to enjoy,” Stover said.
Construction began this week and is expected to be completed by the first week of March. If you need books you can request them from Beckley or Sophia Library and you can pick them up from Shady Spring Branch Library.
