The Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center is the venue for many events in the area. The last couple weeks the convention center has been the host for post season basketball.
Andrea Akers, General Manager at the BRCCC, said while they host all these events, it does take a lot of preparation.
“From our point of view, we have to do a lot of prep work like make popcorn, get cotton candy ready. Just make sure everything is clean and ready so that when guest arrive we are good to go,” Akers said.
Akers said the next big event is the Women’s Expo in March.
