Daniel Vineyards introduces new disc golf course

Raleigh County

Daniel Vineyards in Crab Orchard had their grand opening for the newest addition to their property.

They added a nine-hole disc golf course that is open and free to the public. The Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce came out on Friday, July 13, to support the business by having a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Co-owner of Daniel Vineyards, Rich Daniel, said he hopes this brings more people outdoors to grab a glass of wine for a beer while they are enjoying the game.

“It’s been a lot of work, and not only that but getting people out here helps us maintain is so we’re ready to let other people help us do the work. I’m just so thankful and ready to let the public see it and get any feedback we can,” Daniel said.

As of now, the business does not have rental discs for people to use, so they ask people bring their own. They also recommend to check their Facebook page to see if they are closed due to private events, before people head their way.
