Deputies make meth bust in Sprague

The Raleigh County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force was able to get another suspected drug dealer off the streets.  On Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018 they searched a home on Redberry Lane in Sprague with the help of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office’s Special Response Team.

During the search, officers found 2.5 ounces of methamphetamine, three handguns and around $5,000 in cash.  Richard Swain, 25, was arrested and charged with delivery of cocaine and methamphetamine and also possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.

Swain is being held in the Southern Regional Jail.  His bond is set at $75,000.
