FOUND: Ashley Canfield located

BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) – 3 p.m. UPDATE:  Raleigh County Sheriff’s Deputies said Ashley Canfield was found.


A girl from Raleigh County is missing and now deputies are asking for help from the public to find her.  Ashley Canfield, 17, was last seen on Monday, April 8, 2019.  

Canfield was at a family member’s home on Farley Branch Road when she was last seen.  There is no word on whether or not she chose to leave on her own or if she was abducted. Investigators said she may be in Mercer County with an unidentified man. 

Canfield is 5-feet 8-inches tall and weighs around 140-pounds. She has blueish eyes and long hair that is usually dark colored.  She was last seen wearing blue jeans with holes in them and a green and white jacket. 

Anyone with information on Ashley’s location is asked to call 911 or the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office at 304-255-9300. Anonymous tips can also be left at the Crime Stoppers of West Virignia website or by using the P3 Tips App on any Apple or Android Device.
