Freedom Ministries Church made headlines last week after a fire destroyed their church building. One week later after the devastating fire, the members of the church still gathered on the church grounds to worship on Sunday, March 10.

Philip Farrington, Head Pastor at Freedom Ministries, said the support is not only from the community, but from many other states.

“We’ve been so blessed by the love of the people,” Farrington said. “I mean it’s been amazing. It’s been really hard, but the love has lifted us up a lot.”

Philip said they will be in the youth center until they can raise enough money to build a new building. He said for now, they are going to do what the Bible says,  making beauty from ashes.
