The 10th Annual Volleyball 4 Autism took place at the Memorial Baptist Church gymnasium on Saturday.

This annual fundraiser serves the non profit, Un-Prescription for Autism. It is put on by New River Community and Technical College students, who believe bringing awareness to Autism is extremely important.

Angela Akers of Un-Prescription for Autism said they could not support the foundation without the help of the community.

“It is an overwhelming joy to see all the support that we have out here for today for autism,” Akers said. “We are all aware it’s autism awareness month, but it’s everyday for us with autism,”

The fundraiser generated around 30,000 in the past ten years for the non-profit.
