MACARTHUR, WV (WVNS) — Two people are in jail after deputies find drugs and children inside of a their car.
Deputies arrested Cristy Lynn Smith and Nathaniel Brose Rider Saturday, March 2, 2019. Deputies said they were called to a store in MacArthur for a child abuse complaint.
Deputies said they searched Smith and Rider’s car and found heroin, suboxone strips and digital scales. They also found heroin and meth on Smith.
Two children under the age of 5 were in the vehicle at the time. Both are facing drug charges along with child neglect.
