Southern West Virginia is just five months away from the area’s largest auto fair and there are some big changes this year.
The Friends of Coal Auto Fair is changing their name the Friends of Charity Auto Fair. It is one of the state’s premier car show and festivals.
Tim Carrico with Hospice of Southern West Virginia said this will help out the charities with which they work.
“So the reason we decided to change the name from the Friends of Coal Auto Fair over to the Friends of Charity Auto Fair, we felt that it’ll better suit our mission of helping local charities in the area. We think that with this name change, businesses and people will feel their time and money are going to charities,” Carrico explained.
The dates of the fair have also changed to July 12 – 13, 2019.
