The Piney Creek Watershed Association plans huge clean-up

Earth Day is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate then to clean-up roadside trash.

The Piney Creek Watershed Association is planning on cleaning up 26.2 miles of roads within the watershed in Raleigh County. There are 15 separate clean-ups that will be happening from April 5-13.

Executive Director, Danielle Stewart, is encouraging more volunteers to join.

“It really helps visibility in the community, if we want to have a better community we have to the sweat and effort into making it a better community,” Stewart said.
