WVSP to hold sobriety checkpoint

West Virginia State Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in Raleigh County on Thursday, November 29. 

The checkpoint will be held along U.S. 19, just south of the Airport Road intersection in Beaver.

Troopers will be stopping cars from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The goals of this checkpoints are to deter impaired driving and to educate people on the dangers of driving under the influence.
