Several roads closed due to high water

SOUTHERN W. Va. (WVNS) — Several roads are closed Monday morning due to high water in Southern West Virginia and Virginia. 

The following information is from dispatchers: 

Fayette County:

Paint Creek Road is closed. 

Packs Branch Road is closed. 

Greenbrier County:

Caldwell Tunnel is closed. 

Tuckahoe Tunnel is closed. 

Boggs Creek Road in Rainelle is closed.

Friar’s Hill Road in Rinick is closed. 

Pocahontas County: 

Rt. 250 North of Durbin is closed. 

DOH crews are on scene cleaning up a rockslide.

Route 39 is impassable due to flooding on Knapps Creek. 

Tazewell County:  

Cedar Bluff and Richlands had reports of high water.

Old Kentucky Turnpike is partially closed due to high water.
