Starting on Monday May 14, 2018, people in the area of Lockbridge Road in Summers County will temporarily have to find new ways to get around.  The West Virginia Division of Highways (DOH) will be working to repair a slip along the roadway.

According to a release from the DOH, County Route 1 (CR1), Lockbridge Road will be closed weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The construction is expected to last from May 14 to June 8, but weather and unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.

Motorists are asked to observe all traffic control signs and expect delays when traveling in the area.  Detours will be in place during the construction.
