2 charged in Mullens break-in case

An investigation into items stolen from the Mullens Opportunity Center led to the arrest of two men.  The break-in at the building happened on Jan. 7, 2019 according to Wyoming County deputies.

Investigators said computers, a generator and scrap copper pipe were stolen.  The property was valued at $1,100.  During the investigation, deputies determined Jeffery Lee Reece and Christopher Edward Hicks were involved with the crime.

According to investigators, Reece and Hicks confessed to the crime.  Reece was already in jail on unrelated charges.  Hicks was arrested on March 7, 2019.  They are being held on $10,000 bond each.
