Thief caught because of footprints left in home

BAILEYSVILLE, WV (WVNS) — A thief in Wyoming County was caught after officers traced his footprints left behind in the home he broke into. 

Officers arrested Todd Daniel Addison Friday, February 22, 2019. Officers responded to a home on Cub Creek Road in Baileysville where the homeowner said someone had broken a bedroom window. Inside the home, officers discovered shoe prints on the floor. They were able to match up those prints with shoes that belong to Addison. 

Addison is charged with nighttime burglary and is in jail on a $10,000 bond.
