Two people face charges in Wyoming County burglary investigation

An investigation into stolen property in Wyoming County lands two people in jail on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.  It began with a tip to sheriff’s deputies about stolen items, including a chainsaw.

Deputies said they were able to track down several thousand dollars worth of stolen items from locations in Wyoming and Raleigh Counties.  The stolen items included tools, jewelry and guns.

Thomas Conley Shrewsbury, 26, and Rachel Juanita McComas, 32, both of Stephenson, WV were arrested.  They are facing charges of burglary and transferring stolen property.  They are being held in the Southern Regional Jail.  Shewsbury has a $10,000 cash only bond.  McComas bond is $5,000 cash only.
