OCEANA, WV (WVNS) — A Wyoming County man was arrested after reportedly beating up his dad.
Michael Kennedy is charged with malicious wounding after getting into a fight with his father. According to court documents, Kennedy and his dad, David, got into an argument on Sept. 25, 2019. The argument grew heated and Kennedy allegedly threw his dad to the ground and jumped on his chest.
David Kennedy was taken to Raleigh General Hospital. Investigators reviewed his medical records and found he was being treated for four broken ribs.
Michael Kennedy is being held in the Southern Regional Jail on $10,000. bond.
