Wyoming County woman arrested for grand larceny, transferring stolen property

SIMON, W. Va. (WVNS) — A Wyoming County woman is in jail on charges of grand larceny and transferring stolen property. 

According to Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies, April Nicole Stafford was arrested and charged after surveillance footage caught her stealing from a home in the Simon area of Wyoming County on December 22. 

Deputies said Stafford stole a safe with $1,500, prescription pills and other small items inside. 

Stafford was arrested on Sunday, January 28 in the Simon area. 

She is now being held in the Southern Regional Jail.
