BECKLEY, W. Va. (WVNS) — A Beckley woman is facing a long list of charges after officers reportedly found a ‘large amount of drugs’ in her vehicle.

Beckley Police arrested Jillian Rene Shiflett of Crab Orchard on Saturday, May 19.

Officers reportedly pulled Shiflett over after finding her stopped at a green light on Harper Road. She told officers she had a loaded gun and large blade knife on her hip. When she opened the car door, officers found a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. She also told officers her license was revoked due to a previous DUI.

Inside the car, officers reportedly found a “large quantity of drugs” including marijuana, heroin, meth and prescription pills along with Ziploc bags.

Officers said Shiflett was drowsy and nodding off during a field sobriety test. Officers said she admitted to smoking marijuana meth and heroin within 24 hours of the incident. Her car also had a stolen license plate on it.

Shiflett is charged with possession with intent to deliver, DUI 2nd offense, no insurance, bailpiece, no registration, driving suspended and driving revoked for DUI. She’s in jail on a $100,000 bond.
