A local business has a Christmas tree completely decorated in symbols that represent West Virginia.

Grand Home Furnishings in Beckley is competing against other Grand Home Furnishing locations to see which store has the best decorated tree. A sales representatives came up with the idea to showcase our state and for what we are most known.

Some of the iconic symbols on the tree, are the New River Gorge Bridge, Coal Mining and White Water Rafting. Store manager, Steve Tincher, said this is a wonderful way to show our appreciation for our home.

“We live in the state, our business is in the state and so we are proud of West Virginia, and what it represents and we know a lot of folks out there love West Virginia,” Tincher said.
