Starting on June 19, 2018 there will be a three-day Junior Nursing Academy held in Beckley, WV. This is the first time this event has been held in southern West Virginia.

It is a joint effort by the West Virginia University Institute of Technology, Bluefield State College, Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, Raleigh General Hospital and the Air Evac Lifeteam. Funding came from a grant by the West Virginia Center for Nursing.
