The Virginia Tech Hokies are in the big dance for back to back seasons for the first time since 1985-86.  They are in Pittsburgh as the 8th seed in the east regional and will play 9th seeded Alabama on Thursday, March 15, 2018.

As far as match ups go, the 8-9 games are always fun and that is what we have here in the Steel City between Virginia Tech and Alabama.  On Tuesday afternoon, the men of tech took to the PPG floor for the first time. They are trying to end a two game losing streak as they are coming off a loss last week in the second round of the ACC tournament.

The Hokies are fired up to end the losing streak, get the program their long sought after ncaa win, and go to the NCAA in back to back seasons.

“It feels good to come here. I am in my best shape ever,” said Virginia Tech Senior Justin Bibbs.  “We were in last place my Freshman year. Second year I got to the NIT. 3rd year NCAA. This year NCAA. It feels great. It feels good to be part of aa program on the way up.”
