The highly-anticipated one-on-one battle between two of golf’s biggest names is set for Thanksgiving weekend in Las Vegas, NV.
Tiger Woods, 42, and Phil Mickelson, 48, have recently discussed the possibility of squaring off in a one-on-one golf match for a large prize. Reports surfaced on Thursday, August 2nd about the golfers heading to Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, NV during late November for this exhibition.
The event is rumored to feature a $10 million payout for the winner, but that amount has not been confirmed. The match will take place on either Friday (November 23rd) or Saturday (November 24th).
Between Woods and Mickelson, they have combined for a total of 122 wins on the PGA Tour and 19 Major Championships.
This week, the golfers are both featured in the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. In fact, after round one, Woods is 4-under-par, Mickelson is also 4-under through 18.
