Wanted woman from VA arrested in Fayette County

GLEN FERRIS, WV (WVNS)– A wanted woman from Virginia was found and arrested in Fayette County.

Deputies with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated a trash complaint in the Glen Ferris area on Wednesday, February 12, 2020.

Deputies found the vehicle in connection to the complaint, and inside the car was Megan Woody from Dixie, VA. Wood is wanted in Allegheny County, VA for failing to appear for court proceedings.

Wood is awaiting extradition back to Virginia.
