COVID-19 cases identified at Mercer County Sheriff’s Department

PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — Mercer County Chief Deputy Joe Parks confirmed three cases of COVID-19 were identified among the staff of the Sheriff’s Department. The cases were among civilian office staff and deputies.

Those who were confirmed as positive are quarantined at home. No other employees were exposed to the virus.

The office is being deep cleaned and disinfected. It will remain open to the public for transactions.
