UPDATE: 10/26/2019, 4:15 P.M.: Legendz Bar & Grill announced they will be closed indefinitely after a blaze in their building on Saturday, October 26.

The establishment made the announcement on Facebook saying, ” We’ll be closed due to a fire for the foreseeable future. We’ll let everyone know more when we can.”

Multiple fire departments responded to the call just after 7:30 A.M, it was contained by 10:30 A.M.


BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) — Firefighters raced to put out flames at Legendz Bar & Grill on Airport Road in Bluefield during the early hours of Saturday, October 26.

Assistant Chief for Green Valley-Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department, Joe George, told 59 News his crew got the call just after 7:30 a.m. They arrived to find flames burning through the roof of the building. East River, Bluewell, and Bramwell also responded.

As of 10:25 a.m., George said they are still on scene and the fire is 95% contained. Traffic is being directed through one lane on Airport Road.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
