UPDATE JULY 5, 2020 7:47 P.M.:

Dispatchers confirmed that all lanes of Rt. 63 are open.


ALDERSON, WV (WVNS)– A portion of Route 63 in Alderson is closed due to a road collapse.

Greenbrier County Dispatchers told 59News the call came in on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. One lane of Rt. 63 is closed until further notice as crews evaluate damage.

Alderson and Tri-County fire departments responded.
