Princeton Walmart evacuated following report of bomb threat

PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — Shoppers and employees in Mercer County were evacuated from Walmart following a report of a bomb threat.

The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the store was evacuated Thursday, June 3, 2021. The situation is ongoing as emergency crews work to clear the scene.

West Virginia State Police is handling the investigation.

No other information is being released at this time.
