State of Preparedness issued ahead of rain

CHARLESTON, WV (WVNS) — Governor Jim Justice issued a State of Preparedness ahead of additional rain moving through the region this week.

The State of Preparedness covers all 55 counties. It allows for resources to mobilize and help people prepare for any potential flooding or storm-related damage.

Governor Justice also activated the State Emergency Operations Center. The Governor is ready to declare a State of Emergency if necessary.
